Seeing things

No I've not gone evangelical.

If it was up to me I'd name Pillars of Creation "Badly-made Yau Char Kwai (Chinese doughnuts)" and the Eye of God "Stove Flame with Faulty Vent".

I'm just fascinated at how we like to use divine-sounding names to label wonderous phenomena. I'm not sure if anyone has ever seen god to know what his eye looks like.

Btw a nebula is just a bunch of interstellar gases heated up by a cluster of stars at the core.

Hahaha! Yau Cha Kuai.... HAHA

God... what a big deal for some...... I once sort of believe there is God when I was young and then as I age, I start to doubt on the existence of God, which makes me an Agnostic at the moment.

One thing I cannot bear with people who have strong beliefs in God is when they rely every single thing on God. And what I noticed is some tend to get influenced very easily with the whole idea of God and start to interpret whatever is "delivered" by God according to their own understanding. Little did they notice that they sometimes failed to interpret things correctly.

It makes me feel like screaming at them when they have this idea that everything occurred or things they do is resulted from the mighty power of God. I've seen how one of the people I know started believing in God and expressed how her actions {ie: reading a novel} were the results of God's will...

What if the mighty God is actually just an imaginary idea created?

I wonder......

@hweicheng
When it comes to beliefs, I adopt a live and let live attitude. As long as people aren't killing or forcing themselves on each other, then power to them.

But yeah, having once been part of an avid Church going crowd in the US, I can understand why some of them are overzealous about interpreting things according to their beliefs. Happens to every devout believer of any religion doesn't it cause that's how they're trained to understand the world.

@xen
Yeah, you bet. What wouldn't I give to have a ship to explore space...

Several years back, my elder sister who is a Buddhist had shown this nebula God eye picture. She said it is the God wisdom eye. I said i don't think so & i couldn't explain much b'coz i have no idea of it. But seeing this explanation, maybe it is just a bunch of interseller gasses.....according to scientific terms.

Anyhow, God truly exist. What i mention here is the Almighty God. Not local god, average god, small god & etc. All i know is God is formless, all love, very merciful,
very compassion, very very millions,trillion thousand of bright lights & God is not a he or a she. God always hear our cries, sorrows & always try to help us. But it was human that do not understand God & couldn't get the message. B'coz too busy with the mundane world. God always try to call us but our telephone line is too preoccupied...

God can manifested anything according to situation. Sometime God manifested as human to help human being. But sometime God couldn't come to Earth, so God send a comforter or a Master to save, remind or teach human beings. God is so merciful that each decade, God will send a new master to difference nationalities & countries to replace the Master that had left this world. Example the great Master Jesus Christ, Buddha, Prophet Muhhamad & etc. All these Master work for God. But once the Master was here on Earth, they are either kill, persecuted (example Jesus christ), slander(example Buddha slandered by his cousin Devadatta)or chased around(example Prophet Muhhamad) by the ignorant human beings that cannot recognized these great beings.

The indian people in India is very devoted people. They alway treat any guest that come to their house with warm welcoming & respectful b'coz it might be a God manifestation. Indian people also very respectful to living Master b'coz they know only through a Master that can connect to God. So they would treat the Master like God as these master is like a representative of God. They worship all kind of things example trees, snakes, rocks, water.. etc b'coz they do see something. Maybe local God. They believe all things come from God which is quite true.

Here's one of my favourite movie regarding God. Maybe you have seen it. Its a very funny movie but it's related to God:

"Bruce Almighty" acted by Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston & Morgan Freeman

The sequel of this movie is "Evan Almighty". This movie is also very funny but i still prefer Bruce Almighty.

Yeah God Almighty was hilarious. Evan Almighty wasn't as good but still enjoyable. The other god-related movie I enjoyed was DaVincci Code which created a bit of fuss for some.

@xen
Sure I'll save you a seat. I'm bringing my blender too, hehe.

The one vegetarians depend on when they feel like a snack. Come to think of it I might also bring Duffy my astronomer pal and Spot my puppy.
